Project

A Project is a primary container for organizing your research efforts in Fred. It represents the main goal or purpose of your research, which can encompass various smaller objectives. Projects can be structured around a specific goal, product, or even a client. Within a project, you’ll find multiple studies, each targeting different aspects of the overarching research goal.

Study

A Study is a focused and specialized research effort within a project. It aims to address a specific research objective or solve a smaller puzzle related to the main goal of the project. Each study contains one or more methods: tests used to gather data and insights to help address the study’s research objective.

Method

A Method is a test used to gather data from participants within a study. Methods serve as tools to collect information and insights that contribute to solving the research objective of the study. They can be used individually or combined within a study to create a tailored research experience that addresses the study’s specific goal.

Documentation

A feature that allows you to create, compile, and share reports, including study results and insights, using a flexible and user-friendly editor.

Insights

The Insights section is a dedicated page where you can create, manage, and categorize your Tags. It serves as a central hub for organizing and structuring your research findings. By creating Tag groups and assigning Tags to study results, you can streamline your analysis and ensure that your research is accessible and comprehensible to you and your team.

Tag

Tags in Fred are labels or keywords assigned to specific pieces of text or data within study results. They help categorize, organize, and analyze the collected information, making it easier to identify patterns, trends, or crucial insights. Tags allow you to quickly access and review specific segments of your research, facilitating a more efficient and effective analysis process.
