Creating a new study in your project is a simple and straightforward process. Follow these steps to add a study and start gathering valuable insights from your participants:

  1. Navigate to the Project: Go to the Project where you want to add the Study.
  2. Add new Study: Click on “Add new Study” on the left-hand side of the screen if the Project is empty, or “Add study” on the right-hand side at the top of your screen if there’s already at least one Study.
  3. Enter Study details: Fill in the Study name and description (optional).
  4. Build Study: Click on the “Build study” button.
  5. Add Methods: In the Study Editor, click on “Add new block” to see the list of available methods. Select the desired method, fill in the requirements, and repeat this step if you want to add more methods.
  6. Add study to Project: When you’re ready, click on “Add study to Project” at the bottom of the page to officially add the created study to the project, or click on “Discard changes” if you changed your mind and want to delete this study.
  7. Study Successfully Created: When the study has been added to the project, a pop-up will inform you that the Study has been successfully created.
  8. Go Live or Open Project: At this point, clicking on “Go live” will set the study as live, while clicking on “Open project” will leave the study as “Draft” and bring you inside the project that contains the study.
  9. Share the Study: If you clicked on “Go live”, the study will be set as live and you can start gathering data. A link to share with your tester will appear, feel free to copy it or click on “Copy link” to copy it to your clipboard.

Once the Study is live and the link has been shared, the Study results will be gathered on the Project page. Remember, we’re here to help you get the most out of your user research experience with Fred. If you have any questions or need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.
